Calling on the Collective wisdom of y'all here.

We have among our trebles a rather promising young lad of 9 or 10 (I can't remember which...). Who has an amazingly clear voice, and are trying to think of ways to encourage him.

So Voice for Life - what exactly does it entail - what non-singing elements does it have (theory, religion...?) and in your opinions - is it a good program...

Ideas for how myself, and my husband (who was in the same position as this lad 20 years ago, and is now a rather fine Tenor) can encourage him (his self-esteem isn't the best) would be gratefully accepted.

Your best shot would be to contact the RSCM. There seems to be plenty of information here:
