nigel@honeysucklehouse.fsworld.co.uk

St Andrew’s, Wiveliscombe are delighted to welcome the internationally renowned organist and composer, DAVID BEDNALL http://www.davidbednall.com/biography.html who will be giving a recital on Saturday 26th July at 5.00 pm.

The recital will be followed by supper in the White Hart Hotel.

Tickets cost £7.50 (recital only) and £16 for a combined recital and supper ticket. Recital tickets may be bought on the door or, in advance, from Wiveliscombe House (01984 624777. Supper tickets must be booked in advance on 01984 623344.

The St Andrew’s organ is, without doubt, one of the finest parish church organs in Somerset. It was originally built by Grey of London (later Grey & Davison) in 1829. A number of rebuilds and enlargements, have taken place since then, the latest of which were carried out in 1995 and 2000 by Brian Verrier and Colin Brice of The Deane Organ Builders of Taunton. The organ now contains 41 speaking stops and a 64 channel piston capture system.

Further information about the recital and the organ may be obtained by emailing nigel@honeysucklehouse.fsworld.co.uk

A poster advertising the recital is attached as a jpeg file. Please print this and display it prominently. Parish administrators, please forward to all churches in your groups.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would be grateful if you could forward it to anyone who may be interested. If you do not wish to be included on this mailing list, please let me know.

Regards,

Nigel Parkin
